A holistic inventory management is carried out through the barcode applications integrated with the ERP and, the hand terminal supported inventory management. This makes it possible to design and put into practice process integrated applications from the lot number traceability to the smart warehouses system. The inventories are completely and properly managed making use of the history records used for retrospective reporting concerning transfers among the warehouses, carrier controlled inventory tracking systems and warehouse authorizations, which prevent possible problems that may occur in respect of production and planning.
